On May 28, 2022,
three YG members and three exchange students met at Sinchon at 12:00. After
meet up, we had popular Korean food Tteokbokki in ‘또보겠지 떡볶이집(See you later Tteokbokki Restaurant)’. And we take photos and
enjoyed our time. Then we moved Ichon Station
by taking subway.
The weather was
nice. And the National Museum of Korea welcomed us. The National Museum of
Korea is one of the world’s 10 largest museums, and as of 2016, it has 403,290 works
and relics. It continues to be added now. We could experience the essence of
Korean culture from here.
The interior of
the museum was spacious and comfortable. From prehistoric times to modern, we could
feel and experience 5,000 years of Korean history deeply. We talked about what
we felt while looking at ceramics, murals, and Buddha statues there.
After a colorful
experience, our team headed to the tea house. The tea house name is ‘사유 공간
찻집(Sayu Space tea
house)’, which means thinking deeply about something, and there is ‘Ban ga Sayu
Sang(반가사유상)’ Statue at the third floor of the museum. We had a great time eating traditional Korean
tea with lovely Korean refreshments like Tteok(떡) and Yakgwa(약과). We talked a lot
and know each other more closely and had a good moment.
