On May 22nd, 3 YG members and 3 exchange
students met at Yonsei university at 11:30. At first, we wanted to eat Kimchi
stew, but the restaurant was closed, so we had to move to another Italian
restaurant nearby. We ordered menus as we wanted and enjoyed the menu. We had a
great time both eating and talking.
After lunch, we moved to Korean Movie
Museum, located near Sang-am. We had to take a bus to the museum, so we rushed
to the bus stop to take it. It took about 20 minutes to the museum, and we’ve
talked a lot while moving by a bus.
We took a picture in front of the museum,
where famous Korean movie clips were attached. Unfortunately, the museum had a
break time until 2 o’clock, we had to go to a café nearby and spend our time.
We talked a lot there, talking about each other’s culture and experience living
in Korea.
Finally, we could go inside to the museum,
and a cute A-I robot greeted us. The robot was programed to introduce people
around the museum, and it had diverse language so that foreigners could
understand everything. Thanks to this robot, we could easily follow it and listen
to its explanations. This museum contained almost every record of Koren movies,
so the old films were even not familiar to Korean students. However, we could
listen to the robot and understand the timeline of Korean movie
infrastructure’s development.
There were also current Korean films
introduced in the museum, such as parasite, which were all familiar to both
Korean and exchange students. There were actual clothes of the characters that
were used in the movie, which attracted our attention. After looking over the
museum, we participated in few activities, and took a picture again. We had a
great time enjoying in this museum, learning and watching Korean movie’s
development.
