On April 5th 2022, 4 YG members and 4 exchange students met at the front gate of Yonsei University at 6:00pm. We went to a restaurant located close to the university. We split into two groups and ate Korean braised chicken in spicy soy sauce called Jjimdak. Everyone enjoyed the meal and chattered away happily for a while. Since the exchange students were interested in K-POP, we talked about the history and current trends of K-POP. Furthermore, we recommended some popular places and cities to visit in Korea such as the hillside village of Gamcheon in Busan and Jusangjeolli cliff in Jeju island so that the students can experience unique culture that can be slightly different from their own culture and enjoy the landscape of Korea.
After we finished the meal, we took a stroll around Sinchon campus. We took some pictures in front of the statue of Underwood. Some exchange students said that the university looked like Hogwarts wizarding school in Harry Potter. The scenery was so beautiful especially at night. Most of the people take pictures in front of the statue when they visit Yonsei university because the three antique buildings are arranged in a U-shape with a garden in the middle which is a beautiful spot to take pictures.
On Monday May 22nd, 2023, TS2 went to 명륜진사갈비, a BBQ restaurant in Sinchon. 2 international students from Norway and 5 Korean members ate charcoal-grilled ribs for 2 hours.
