On
November 14th 2021, 4 YG members and 3 exchange students visited
Seoul Botanic park. We met at the front gate of Yonsei University at 10:00 am
and headed to the Botanic garden by subway. After about 30 minutes, we arrived
at the Botanic garden. The weather was warm – it was perfect autumn weather!
The way from the subway station to the main gate of the Botanic garden was full
of nature and green.
We
walked around various spots within the botanic park and as we entered the
greenhouse, or the glasshouse, everyone started to take off their heavy coats
as it was hot inside the glasshouse. While walking around the park, exchange
students and YG members had 1:1 conversation, talking about school life, their
experiences in Korea, and shared different cultural elements. It was
interesting to talk about each country’s national flower and tree within the
botanic park.
Around
lunch time, we finished looking around the park and headed over to our lunch
place. We had pork cutlet for lunch. All of us ordered different menu and exchange
students seemed surprised at the size of the pork cutlet. We had rather happy
lunch as we were able to recharge energy after hour and a half long walk around
the park.
The
whole experience was perfect thanks to the weather. Red and golden autumn leaves
were beautiful and the wind was blowing swiftly, making our Sunday afternoon
perfect! It was so much fun and we hope everyone made unforgettable memories
together.
