On 29th
October 2021, 4 YG members and 3 exchange students visited Naksan park. First,
we met at the front gate of Yonsei University and headed to Haewha station at
5:00 pm. Since it was dinner time, before heading up to the Naksan Park, famous
for its night view, we had Shabu Shabu for dinner. While having dinner, we
introduced ourselves and had little ice-breaking sessions to get to know each
other. It was the first time that exchange students tried Shabu Shabu, and they
seemed to be surprised at how much vegetables and side dishes were served for
one meal. After eating meat and vegetables, we also had Kalguksu (noodle) and
Korean porridge, which they truly enjoyed!
Around
7pm, we finished eating dinner. Finally, the sun went down and we were able to
see some stars in the sky. Then, together, we walked towards Naksan park. The
weather was perfect for a little walk – not cold, not hot. Exchange students
seemed surprised after we explained the history behind Naksan park. The wall
itself was beautiful and along with Seoul’s night view. Both exchange students
and YG members had photo time along the city wall.
At the top of the Naksan park, we were able to see both Namsan tower and Lotte tower. Also, when we were walking down to the entrance, we saw Dongdaemun. We had so much fun together and it was refreshing for us to observe the whole Seoul city from the top. We hope this experience is a memorable one for everyone!
