On October 16th 2021, 4 YG members and 4 exchange students visited Namsan. As the Covid19 situation is getting severe, we are divided into two groups. The first group get together at Chunmuro station exit 2 at 2pm while the others at City Hall station exit 3. We introduced ourselves and asked some personal questions like the reason why we chose our major or why the foreigner students want to visit Korea here at the very first time to break the ice. Time flies!
The first group went to Namsan by bus. They walked around the souvenir store, cafeteria and Observation Deck. On the way to the Observation Deck there hole a small exhibition introducing the history of Korea and advertisement about Seoul. Two foreign friends are excited much because they could watch whole and entire scenery of Seoul. They took a lot of pictures and admired the scenery.
The second group went to Namsan on foot. As the road sloped a little bit, we huffed and huffed. Thanks to this situation we could get much closer through having a time. At the souvenir store, we found Dalgona, which was famous for ‘Squid Game’ on Netflix. Also, we visited Game Plaza to play darts and shooting game.
Unfortunately the weather was really cold at the noon, therefore, it was a little hard work for us to walk around outside. However, the scenery was really beautiful enough to forget how hard time we had while climbing and fighting with cold. Also four foreigner students, who have never met Korean friends before due to COVID19, felt good with new experience. We had meaningful time with foreign students, making a good memory. We enjoyed our day!
