On April 31, 2021, two Yonsei Global members and two exchange students gathered in front of E-mart located in Sinchon to head to Donghwa Healing Camp, a glamping site in Paju. We had to split up to two teams because of the situation of Covid-19.
After we met each other, we went to Sogang Univ station to take the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. We had a short ice-breaking time while we were heading to our glamping site. It was a first or second time for exchange students to visit places outside of Seoul, so we all got excited to enjoy nature.
When we arrived at the glamping site, we unpacked our bags, and climbed up a walkway which was behind our glamping tent. From there we could see the sight around us on the mountain. Everyone enjoyed the rest the nature gave.
We also fed the rabbits in the rabbit house with the carrots. There were so many rabbits that wanted to eat carrots so our carrots were gone quickly.
Then we had a BBQ party. We roasted pork, cheese, mushrooms and pineapples. Pork was so great and we especially loved grilled pineapples. We also cooked ramen and it was so great on a chilly night.
After the dinner, we gathered around the
tent and played some games. We played “Explain the word” and “Liar game”.
Everyone really enjoyed the time playing games together.
Although it rained a little on the way back home, we had a great time during two days in YGG.
