On the 4th of April, two members of Yonsei global, two exchange students, and two exchange student buddies gathered at zoom to exchange one another’s language and had time to get to know one another. Though Walk & Talk is the only outdoor event for the LE program, due to the severity of Covid19, we weren’t able to meet up in person to hang out. Instead, the LE supervisor well-organized the program in online—prepared presentation for LE participants which was nice. We were expecting more students, but many weren’t able to join us, so just six of us ended up playing games and talked for a while.
We first took our time to fully get to know what the LE program is, and then had an ice-breaking session where we had the time to briefly introduce oneself to others. At this time, many were getting more comfortable with other members of LE, whom we never encountered before. After having an interaction session, we moved onto play some fun games.
First, we played a drawing & guessing game where each member takes turn to simply pick out a word to draw it out and others have to guess what it is. Then we played Capitals of the World Jeopardy. Everyone actively participated and had a lot of fun even if it was held online.
After finished with our games, we had a Q&A session to talk a little bit about how things are going with our matched-up buddies. At last, we exchanged our contact information and finished the program.
