We went to our first One Shot trip of the semester on September 18th.
We gathered in front of the main gate at Yonsei at about 8:30 in the morning and headed to Jamsil station using the subway. We arrived at Lotte World around 9:30, which is the opening time of the park, so luckily there weren't as many people as we expected.
There were about 40 international students and 10 YG members. So, we divided into 5 seperate groups, 2 YG members for every 8 international students, and headed on our way.
Our group went straight to the Magic Island, which is the outdoor park where all the popular rides are, and got in line at the famous roller coasters, like the Atlantis and the Comet Express.
We used our Lotte World Magic Pass apps to get reservations for famous rides so that we could get on as many rides as possible without waiting in line. The weather was really good and the view was great when we were on top of the rides. It was a shame that we couldn't see it for a long time.
After few rides, we stopped at a small restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we thought it would be better to get on something that wouldn't make us sick. So, we rode the bumper cars.
It was really fun driving around the circuit with our group and we were bumping each others' cars. Then, we tried the zombie VR experience, which lets you walk through a room wearing a VR headset. It felt so real and scary that some of us couldn't even make it to the other side of the room.
Then we went on the last ride together, the Gyro Swing and had our free time around the park starting at 3 o'clock, so that everybody could go on rides that we could ride together. It was a great trip and I got to see the park as thoroughly as possible, all thanks to Yonsei Global.
