On June 3rd 2022, 2 YG members and 2 exchange students met at the front gate of Yonsei University at 6:00pm. We took a bus to get to Mangwon Market while chatting and getting to know each other on the way. Arriving at the marketplace, we took a while to look around the various goods that were sold. We tried out different foods such as marshmallow icecreams, Takoyaki, and chicken. We had the opportunity to experience the authenticity of a Korean market with its traditional foods and sellers, also mixed with new and trendy food variants.
After touring the Mangwon Market, we walked towards the Mangwon Hangang Park. At the park, we sat down in front of the river’s beautiful view for a picnic. We enjoyed the food and talked about the diverse cultures we come from. We were delighted with the experience of touring the market and viewing Han River at night. It was a very meaningful program.
