On October 10, four Yonsei Global members and four exchange students
met at Yonsei University. Then, we headed to the ’19.8℃ museum’ in Yeonnam-dong by bus. There was an exhibition about
Kandinsky. Unlike normal exhibitions, instead of seeing the art works directly,
we heard a lecture about his lifetime and works. Before explanation, we had
some time to share our opinions about his works. After that, since Kandinsky
was strongly impressed by music, we saw his artworks with listening the related
songs.
Afterward, we saw several videos with some songs which were the
impressions of his works. As we learned about those songs and works through the
lecture, we could enjoy videos well.
After the exhibition, we moved to the
fusion Korean restaurant in Yeonhui-dong for having lunch. We ate braised
pollack, stir-fried pork, and Dak galbi. All exchange students were satisfied
with their menu. During having lunch, we talked about their exchange programs
and countries. It was a great time for us to become close with each other.
On November 20th, with early
Christmas carols ringing on the streets in Korea, 3 YG members and 3 exchange
students visited Namsan Tower located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Since it was a time
when the coronavirus had increased again, we never took off our masks except
when we took pictures.
In fact, the official name of Namsan Tower
is Namsan Seoul Tower, which Koreans usually call Namsan Tower....
