On October 6th, 2020 , 4 YG members and 3 exchange students got together in front of the main gate of Yonsei Sinchon Campus. We moved altogether to ‘Cheonnyeondabang’ located in the middle of Ehwa and Sinchon station, next to the Sinchon CGV.
As it was quite early to have dinner, for the sake of ‘great’ dinner, we took the route going very straight to the restaurant which required us climbing the whole hill!(2nd pic) At the time of getting the restaurant, thanks to our plenty of exercise, we were all hungry enough for devouring the main dish before us ‘tteokbokki’.
‘tteokpokki’ is one of the most beloved soul foods for Korean so that there even a book named ‘I want to die but I want to eat tteokpokki’ got its 1st place in bestseller(2018). With sharing the values and meaning of tteokpokki, all of us savored the flavor of it.
In the meantime, just like the cream on top of a cake, we had lots of conversation which let us find out cultural differences and what exchange students do feel living in pandemic Korea. To our surprise, one of the exchange students was Korean who had lived in US and another one had Korean father, therefore, it was relatively easy for us to talk about things in common!
After finishing the great dinner around 1930, we stepped out for getting back to each one’s place. Due to COVID19 we decided not to hit by somewhere else for drink or other foods. Still, however, we had super impressive dinner altogether and on the trace of dismiss there left 2 hours of fun and lovely memories.

when we took pictures.
In fact, the official name of Namsan Tower
is Namsan Seoul Tower, which Koreans usually call Namsan Tower....
