We had our first cooking program, ‘Korean Cooking Class’, on March 31, 2019.
KCC is a new program which is made this year. Almost all of the members gathered at the main gate of Yonsei University and moved on. Other members moved directly to the place. We went to K-Food Culture Center.
First, we heard a brief explanation of the food we are going to cook and the tradition of it first. There was someone who could interpret the expert’s words, so foreign members were able to communicate with her.
Next, as the expert explained, we made bulgogi and host greens(숙주나물무침). The exchange students and the club members were paired up.
As you see, it’s been a lot of fun!
After cooking, we all gathered together for the food we made and ate and talked.
About 20 people enjoyed this program and it takes 3 hours.
On November 20th, with early
Christmas carols ringing on the streets in Korea, 3 YG members and 3 exchange
students visited Namsan Tower located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Since it was a time
when the coronavirus had increased again, we never took off our masks except
when we took pictures.
In fact, the official name of Namsan Tower
is Namsan Seoul Tower, which Koreans usually call Namsan Tower....
